- Basic Authentication Deprecation in Exchange Online
- Microsoft turned off Basic Authentication in Exchange online beginning October 1st, 2022.
Microsoft turned off Basic Authentication for the following protocols: MAPI, RPC, Offline Address Book (OAB), Exchange Web Services (EWS), IMAP, Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) and Remote PowerShell.
If your ServicePRO email integration is currently configured to use basic Authentication, please contact our Technical Support to switch to OAuth 2.0 EWS Authentication today! Contact Us
- ServicePRO is now Azure compliant and works seamlessly with Azure cloud.

- ServicePRO's Action Plan for addressing the disabling of EWS in Exchange Online by Microsoft, starting October 1, 2026. As of October 1, 2026, Microsoft is set to start blocking EWS requests from non-Microsoft apps to Exchange Online. As detailed in the below Microsoft article, this change will only apply to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online. - Patch for ServicePRO 14.2.22.x - Patch version 14.2.22.64 for ServicePRO 14.2.22.x for addressing the EWS Disabling for Office 365 Mailboxes, is released on July 16, 2026 to include the implementation of a new Mail Server Type option called “Microsoft 365 Outlook” under System Email Account Setup and User Mail Server Settings. If you are currently using ServicePRO 14.2.22.x OR a lower version, please contact the ServicePRO Support Team to receive this patch version. Please refer to the detailed user guide for this new implementation at Microsoft 365 Outlook Server Type-14.2.22.x
- Patch for ServicePRO 14.3.1.x version - Patch version 14.3.1.515 for ServicePRO 14.3.1.x for addressing the EWS Disabling for Office 365 Mailboxes, is released on August 20, 2026 to include the implementation of a new Mail Server Type option called “Microsoft 365 Outlook” under System Email Account Setup and User Mail Server Settings. If you are currently using ServicePRO 14.3.1.x version, please contact the ServicePRO Support Team to receive this patch version. Please refer to the detailed user guide for this new implementation at Microsoft 365 Outlook Server Type-14.3.1.x
- In addition, if you are using ServicePRO’s Calendar Synchronization Service, the availability of Microsoft Graph API implementation for that component will be made available in a later patch towards the end of Q4, 2026.

ServicePRO version 14.3.1.x onwards does not have an app in the stores. However, you can install it as an app after browsing to your ServicePRO Application URL in a supported browser.
